Westley Richards Droplock 12 Gauge 2 Barrel Set SOLD!
Westley Richards 178 New Bond St, London 12 Gauge Droplock two barrel set with Ferlach Bohler Special Steel chopperlump ejector barrels with 2 3/4" chambers new in 1966. Bores in both sets remain as new. Both with concave game top ribs carrying the Westley Richards inscription and both ring with a pronounced chime.
Barrel # 1- 28 3/8" IC/M bored .730 right and .729 left. Choked .007 right and .019 left
Barrel # 2- 30" M/F bored .728 right and .727 left. Choked .014 right and .027 left
Fancy scalloped back reciever with 90% coverage crisp scroll engraving and retaining 30% original case colors. Single selective trigger. Original buttstock and forend in near exhibition English Walnut with deeply contrasting marblecake lines. Both solid and free of cracks or repairs. Splinter forend with Deeley forend release. Horn tip. DAC-1 11/16" DAH-2 1/8 13 3/4" LOP to rear position single trigger. Checkered butt with engraved steel heal and toe clips. Slight cast off. Weighs 6lb 15oz with the 30" barrels and 6lb 13oz with the 28 3/8" barrels.

This is a nice piece originally manufactured in 1906 and now with two sets new chopperlump barrels. Tight and on face with both barrel sets. Excellent weight and dimmensions. Great eye appeal and with droplocks. An heirloom ready to use for the next 110 years.
