United Firearms Co. 12 Gauge $3750 Liege United Arms Co. (Fabriques D'Armes Unies De Liege) 12 gauge over/under with 27 3/4" demi-block ejector barrels with file cut raised solid rib and silver front bead made in 1948. Bores are excellent measuring .726 both right and left. Chambers are 2 3/4" Two Colonial Arms Skeet 1 thin wall choke. These chokes are easily obtained from Brownells. French Silver 10 pin sidelock receiver with double underbite and double topbite. Receiver with 80% coverage of scroll and game scene engraving with game birds on the sideplates and a boar on the bottomplate. Articulated front trigger. Triggers slightly turned for the right hand. Stocked in a very nicely figured piece of European Walnut with receiver drop points. 28 LPI point pattern checkering. Buttstock and forend are solid without cracks or repairs. LOP is 13 3/4" over a 5/8" Kick Eez pad. It would go 14 1/8" with a 1" pad. DAC - 1 7/16" DAH - 2 3/8" Cast off 3/8"

This gun remains in very good overall condition showing almost no use. It is tight and on face closing like a bank vault. It appears to be all original without refinish. The Liege United Arms Co. manufactured fine firearms in the great gunmaking city of Liege, Belgium from 1920 until 1976. The Continental Arms Co. imported fine Belgium firearms to the United State from 1951 until 1976 with many of these manufactured by the Liege United Arms Co. under the Centaure moniker.
