Terrence A. Smith was a highly talented London gunmaker who uniquely served consecutive full apprenticeships to Boss and Holland & Holland in the 1960's. At Boss he apprenticed under Bill Wise who in turn apprenticed under Bob Henderson who designed the Boss over and under. At Holland & Holland he apprenticed under renowned double rifle maker Bill Keniston. Sadly Mr. Smith passed in December of 2021.
This is a London best gun in every respect. Round body sidelock action, bushed strikers, cocking indicators, chopper lump barrels, and stocked to the fences. This is a very well done piece with lots of eye appeal. The stock has a number of slight impressions from light hunting use. Barrel blue remains at 99+% for both barrels. It is very tight and appears to have been shot very little. Just an outstanding upland game piece!
