Paul Scholberg, Liege 16 Gauge hammer double manufactured in 1925 with 28 3/4" IC/F Siemens Martin Steel [as used by Francotte] extractor barrels with raised matted rib with silver front bead. Chambers are 2 3/4" and proved 16/70 Bores are excellent measuring .667 on the right and .669 on the left. Choked .009 right and .024 left. Color case hardened reciever with rebounding hammers. 70% coverage scroll engraving including trigger bow and bottom tang. Straight grip stock. Splinter forend with Anson release. Sling swivels on buttstock and barrels. 14 3/8" LOP to hard buttplate. DAC-1 1/2" DAH-2 5/8" 6lb 4oz This piece is in excellent condition. It is a 1925 time capsule. Deep barrel blue remains at 99%. Barrels ring. Case colors are vibrant and remain at 90% The stock does have some handling dings. It remains extremely tight with lever well right of center. Paul Scholberg was a small Belgium maker.
