Peter Noreen Magnum Single Square Bridge action with Schmidt & Bender 1.25x4x20 scope mounted in H&H style scope mounts. Rear scope mount base dovetailed into square bridge. Rings, bases, grip cap, and bolt shroud all color case hardened. Drop box magazine with trigger bow release. Four panel bolt knob checkering with rosette. Crossbolted. 14 1/4" LOP over a leather covered pad. 28 LPI point pattern checkering with mullered border. Vacant stock oval. 10lb 10oz without scope and 12lb scoped. The whole cased in a Marvin Huey fitted oak and leather case with a full compliment of accessories.
This is an outstanding piece and reportedly the last Rigby bolt rifle made in London prior to their move to California and their current London reincarnation. I like California girls but I prefer my Rigby's to come from London. This gun remains in near new condition with light stock marks from hunting use. Rigby is absolutely one of the most prestigious gunmaking firms of all time. This very rifle pictured on page 73 of the coffee table book, Rigby A Grand Tradition by Calabi, Helsley, & Sanger
