Raick Freres(Bros.), Liege, Beigium 12 Gauge built in 1966 with 26 1/8" IC/Mod barrels with a raised file cut rib with small brass front bead. Mirror bores measuring .724 on the right and .723 on the left. Choked .015(IC) on the right and .026(Mod) on the left. Chambers are 2 3/4" and so proved. French Silver sideplated boxlock receiver has a hidden third fastener and full coverage of very well cut scroll engraving. Double triggers with checkered faces and the front articulated. Stocked in a very nice piece of European Walnut with excellent color and contrast. The elegant swan neck stock shoulders with ease. DAC - 1 1/4" DAH - 2 1/16" LOP is 15" to a checkered butt. This is a very elegent game gun by a respected Belgium maker. Raick Brothers was established in 1807. This gun is tight and on face. Lever is well right of center. Barrels ring like a chime. Ejectors are strong and well timed. Buttstock and forend are without cracks or repairs. Stock finish remains at 95% with a few minor dents and dings. Barrel blue remains at 99% A very nice piece!
