Mauser Oberndorf Pre-WW1 9x57 Sporting Rifle $2595
Factory Oberndorf Mauser pre-WW1 commercial sporting rifle in 9x57 Mauser manufactured in 1912 with 24" round barrel with ramp front sight, barrel band swivel stud, and tangent rear sight. Good bore. Pear shaped bolt handle. Flag safety. Double set triggers. Bullet tip push button floorplate release. Early stock style with elevated side panels. Pancake cheekpiece, factory serrated horn buttplate with a few worm holes, and round pistol grip. Checkered on the grip. 7lb even. 13 3/4" LOP This piece is 105 years old and a survivor. Although about half of the Mauser commercial sporting rifles were made prior to WW1, survival is low and these are hard to find. This piece is all original with matching numbers on all small parts and the stock. Blue is at 85% with some patina. Stock finish at 85% Checkering at 90%
