1914 Oberndorf Mauser Type B factory sporting rifle with 24" barrel with ramp front sight, banded sling swivel, and tangent rear sight. Bore remains excellent. Standard round top intermediate receiver with single trigger and lever release floorplate. All numbers match including the stock. Early round knob styly stock with rearword stock panels. Early style horn buttplate with intertwined WM. LOP - 13 5/8" Weight - 7lb 20z Overall an 85-88% all factory original gun. Of the approximately 127,000 factory Mauser sporting rifles made between 1898 and 1946 about 80,000 were made prior to WW1 and survival is low on these early guns. This one is in extremmely nice condition given its age.
