This is an outstanding piece by a well recognized husband and wife duo. It is in nearly new condition with light handling marks. I am sure it has not been hunted. Mrs. Hiptmayer was a very well regarded engraver. The engraving on this gun is very well cut and tastefully executed. Mr. Hiptmayer continues to build fine firearms in Quebec.
