Holland & Holland 33 Bruton Street, London 20 Gauge with 26" IC/F dovetail lump ejector barrels wth silver front bead. Manufactured in 1978 this is one of the Webley & Scott guns finished by Holland & Holland after they purchased Webley & Scott. Bores remain as new measuring .614 right and left. Proved .614 and 3 1/4 Tons with 2 3/4" chambers. Choked .008 right and .028 left. Case colored reciever with 20% coverage scroll and border engraving. Straight grip English stock with vacant stock oval. DAC-1 1/2" DAH-2 1/8" 14 5/8" LOP to a checkered butt. Neutral cast. Great game gun weight at 5lb 8oz Cased in its original Brady canvas and leather trunk case with Holland & Holland trade label. Also included is a wooden cleaning rod, mop, brush, and jag, oil bottle, Holland & Holland snap caps, Rangoon oil, and cleaning patches.
This piece shows little use and remains in nearly new condition retaining 100% vivid case colors. Blue at 98% with slight wear on lower tang. Stock finish at 98% with a few scattered handling marks. Tight with lever well right of center. An outstanding English game gun by one of the top tier makers.
