Classic Griffin & Howe Springfield sporter from the late 1920's features a 24 inch barrel with banded ramp front sight and excellent bore. Springfield reciever with stipled front reciever ring and signature "thumbprint" on floorplate. Two panel bolt knob checkering. Lyman 48 reciever peep sight and all steel early style G&H single lever scope mount with windage adjustment and all steel 7/8" rings. Hensholdt Wetzlar Ziel Dialyt 2 3/4X scope with clear optics. G&H stock style with point pattern checkering, horn forend tip, steel pistol grip cap, shadow line pancake cheekpiece, vacant brass stock oval, and engraved and checkered steel trap buttplate. Cleaning accesories are in the trap. G&H sling studs and swivels with the original G&H logo sling. 13 3/4 inch LOP. 95% original rust blue thinning on floorplate. 95% original stock finish. Shows light use but no abuse. This is an outstanding gun in 100% original condition by America's premier pre-war rifle maker.
