Griffin & Howe Springfield 30-06 SOLD!
Griffin & Howe 30-06 built on a Sprinfield action circa 1934 with a 22" barrel with banded ramp front sight and banded sling stud. Bore is excellent. Action features a Lyman 48 receiver peep sight with 125' slide and single lever windage adjustable G&H sidemount with 1931 patent date holding a Hensodt Wetzlar Zielvier 4X scope with clear optics. Two panel bolt knob checkering and a checkered trigger face. Stocked in European Walnut with a pancake cheekpiece, point pattern checkering, steel grip cap, and horn forend tip. Vacant brass stock oval. LOP is 13 3/4" to a checkered and engraved trap buttplate containing a cleaning kit and room for two extra cartridges. Weighs in at 9lb 1oz as scoped.
This is an outstanding example of early 20th century American gunmaking by the premier gunmaker of that era and remains in all original and unmolested condition. Excellent value.
