Abbiatico & Salvinelli [FAMARS] Excalibur BL 12 Gauge built in 1998 with 26" Bohler Steel vent rib ejector barrels with long forcing cones and five FAMARS flush removable chokes. Bores measur .728 top and bottom. Chokes are Cyl/.012 IC/ .025 Mod/ .036 Full/.044 XF. French Silver hand detachable drop lock receiver with 70% coverage rose and scroll engraving with GR [or RG] inlayed in gold on the trigger guard. Engraving is by Dassa and signed. Single non-selective inertia trigger. Stocked in a very nice piece of figured European Walnut with a Prince of Wales grip. Lop is 14 1/8" to a soft rubber pad. DAC - 13/8" DAH - 1 3/4" Stock with neutral cast. Weighs in at 7lb 11oz
This is a very nice piece which shows light hunting use. A 97% gun overall. It appears to have been fired very little and remains very tight with the top lever well right of center. Ejectors are strong and well timed. Excellent value from one of Italy's premier gunmakers.
