Abbiatico & Salvinelli [FAMARS], Brescia, Italy Castore 12 gauge hammer gun built in 1975 with 28" chopper lump ejector barrels with bores as new measuring .727 on the right and .726 on the left. Chambers are 2 3/4" Smooth raised rib with silver front bead. Six Briley screw in chokes with wrench; .005, .010, .015, .020, .025, & .040 Two gold inlayed bands on the breech end and "Armi Famars" inlayed in gold on the top rib. Receiver with rebounding hammers, double triggers with checkered faces and the front articulated, and trigger guard rolled for the right hand. On face with the top lever to the right. Receiver and trigger guard with near complete coverage of bird dog and scroll engraving by Severin and signed. Perch belly buttstock with drop points. LOP is 14 3/8" over a Decelerator pad. DAC - 1 5/16" DAH - 2" Neutral cast. 7lb 8oz
This is an elegant and classic modern hammer gun with ejectors, good dimensions, and ideal weight for a 12 gauge. It is cased in its factory trunk case with oil bottle and snap caps. The case outside shows more wear than the gun. This gun remains in very good overall condition. Barrel blue at 97% with stock finish and checkering at 98% Well priced.
