Abbiatico & Salvinelli [FAMARS] Avantis 20 Gauge with 26" chopper lump Cyl/IC ejector barrels with smooth concave game rib with silver front bead. Bores are as new measuring .634 on the right and .630 on the left. Choked Cylinder on the right and IC [.010] on the left. This is a true trigger plate round action game gun similar to the Dickson, MacNaughton, or McKay Brown but with droplocks and assisted opening. Case colored reciever with scalloped back. Bushed strikers. Single non-selective trigger. Locking screws on four key screws. Border and very light scroll engraving by Ghidini and signed. Bottom tang extends to the pistol grip cap. Stocked in true Exhibition Turkish Walnut with a pistol grip buttstock with steel two screw grip cap with engraved screws. Beavertail forend with Anson forend release. 32 LPI checkering.
LOP is 14 5/8" to a leather covered pad. DAC-1 1/2" DAH-1 15/16" Neutral cast but comb angled to the right for the right hand. 6lb 12oz
This is an outstanding 20 bore game gun showing minimal use. 2005 production. It is cased in a very nice canvas and leather trunk case with velour slips for both buttstock and barrels. The retail base price for this model was $66,500 in 2012. Simply an amazing gun and well priced.
