Empire Rifles went out of business in 2011. They built rifles on Doumalin standard length actions and their own proprietary Mauser action with an octagon front receiver ring but their East Africa Model was built on the legendary Granite Mountain true magnum length double square bridge C-ring action. At one time they were the largest utilizer of the Granite Mountain action. This rifle shows only very minimal handling marks remaining in nearly new condition. It is built the way a safari gun should be with double crossbolts, integral barrel recoil lug, and an integral quarter rib. Excellent value.
