This is a solid piece that is ruggedly built. It is built the way a safari rifle should be and the all integral barrel will go the distance without failing you in the field. Mr. Elrod, Chesaning, MI, has been stocking fine rifles for over 40 years. His checkering and inletting are extremely high quality. Mr. Stickley is a master machinist but unfortunately is no longer in the firearms trade. He last worked for John Bolliger's Mountain Riflery, Pocatello, ID and produced the designs for his integral barrels and proprietary rings and bases. He was one of a handful of craftsmen who could produce an integral barrel with mill and lathe before the advent of CNC machines. This fine safari rifle shows some use with scattered dents and dings from field use. Stock finish at 95%. Blue at 98% Ready for the Dark Continent!
