Colt-Sharps Rifle in 7mm Remington Magnum circa 1970-1977 with a 26" barrel with an excellent bore. This rifle is all factory original and equipped with its factory Leupold
Vari-X 11 3x9 scope and Canjar set trigger. Receiver is plum blued. Stocked in an outstanding piece of feathercrotch walnut with cheekpiece and fleur de lis checkering pattern. Engraved cartridge trap in toeline of buttstock. LOP is 13 1/2" over factory pad. Weight is 9lb 15oz
These are rare guns with only 502 produced by Colt because cost of production was too high. . This is number 495. This gun is all original with 98% barrel and receiver blue, 98-99% stock finish and 99% checkering. The only major flaw is rusting on the cartridge trap probably from poor guncase storage. This needs to be refinished. These were sold as scoped in a fairly cheap fiberglass trunk case with the foam lining notorious for deterioration. They were also equipped with a cleaning rod with tips as well as a screwdriver kit and sling. This gun will ship in its unlined factory case with all factory paperwork, and cleaning rod. Rod tips, screwdriver kit, and sling are missing. Very hard to find Colt long gun!
