Armi F.lli Bertuzzi Gardone V.T. Italy Zues Boss System 12 Gauge with 28" F/M (.018/.036) tapered solid rib (10mm to 6mm) ejector barrels. Silver front bead. Chambers are 2 3/4" The Boss System sidelock action has 90% coverage of classic rose and scroll engraving by Valerio Peli of Creative Arts. Double triggers with the front articulated. Stocked in exquisite Turkish Walnut with outstanding color, contrast, and figure. The inletting on this piece is impecable. 32 LPI checkering and receiver tear drops. LOP is 14 5/8" to a checkered butt. DAC-1 3/8" DAH- 2 1/4" Slight cast off. Weighs in at 6lb 15oz Cased in a Marvin Huey motor case with 2 keys, chamber brush, snap caps, and oil bottle.This piece remains in 98% condition showing little use. Lever to the right of center. Barrels ring with a pure tone.
The Bertuzzi brothers, Elio & Remigio, were fourth generation gunmakers building only bespoke guns by hand and only about a dozen per year. They have now retired. This may be one of the finest shotguns ever built!
