Beretta SO-4 from the Beretta custom shop built in 1970. This handmade Beretta sidelock shotgun features hand detachable locks and an assisted opening action. Bohler-Antinit Steel barrels are 29 1/8" (74cm) in length with 2 3/4" chambers. Bores are excellent. An extensive complement of Seminole interchangeable chokes are provided. This includes two flush Skeet chokes and two each extended chokes to include Cyl, SKT (.005), IC (.010), Lt Mod (.015), Mod (.020), Imp Mod (.025), & Lt Full (.030) for a total of 16 interchangeable chokes. This gun is stocked in a beautiful piece of European Walnut with a right hand palm swell and deeply contrasting dark mineral streaks in both the buttstock and forend. The point pattern checkering is 28 LPI. Deeley forend release. LOP is 14 3/16" from a rear position single trigger to the back of a Pachmayr Decelerator Sporting Clays pad. DAC-1 1/2" DAH-2 1/2" Weighs in at 7lb 10oz with the flush chokes.
This is an outstanding finely hand crafted shotgun in nearly new condition with only the very slightest of handling marks. Although the trigger guard is marked "Trap" the dimmensions are ideal for sporting clays and other disciplines. It is cased in a very nice Italian Negrini hard case. Just WOW!
