Full custom based on an Interarms Mauser 98 action in .270 Winchester with a 20" barrel with a ramp front sight and island rear sight with one standing and one folding leaves. Bore is as new. The action features a two position side swing safety, custom bolt handle with two checkered teardrop panels, double set triggers, and custom bottom metal with straddle floorplate and trigger bow release. Bolt and follower both finely jeweled. It is topped with a Leupold Vari-XIIc 3x9 scope with duplex in Alaska Arms lever release rings. These are Burgess style rings and the best quick release rings currently on the market. This gun is stocked in the Mannlicher style in a very nice piece of English Walnut with excellent contrast as well as fiddleback figure. Shadowline pancake cheekpiece and Fisher two screw grip cap. Well done 26 LPI point pattern checkering that wraps the forend. Forward sling eye attaches to the barrel. Ebony forend tip with widow's peek. LOP is 14 1/4" to an Old English pad. Weighs in at 8lb 3oz as scoped and 7lb 3oz without.
I don't know who built this gun but not his first rodeo. The checkering, inletting, and styling are meticulous. It has many top drawer custom features. It won't break your back carrying it slung over your shoulder all day. Appears to be new from the maker. Absolutely no appologies here. Excellent quality and value.
