Luger -- 1930-1933 Mauser "Sneak" Rework SOLD! Mauser Arsenal Rework "Sneak" Luger in 9mm with 4" barrel with excellent bore. Blank chamber and toggle. All matching numbers. Period correct clip with correct suffix but serial number ground off. Waffen Amt [WaA66] Odnance Dept. reciever proof on right side. Front grip strap is unit marked "L.St.160" 97% Blue 80% Straw Grips in nice condition. Correct police sear safety. From 1930 to 1933 Mauser participated in reworking and reissueing Luger pistols useing new and used parts in violation of the Treaty of Versailles for sale to police and quasi-military organizations appearing in Germany at that time, such as the National Socialist [Nazi] Party. This is one of these in very nice collector condition. The unit markings "L. St." indicate that this pistol came from the Landjagerie [rural police] of the Stettin Regierungsbezirke [administrative district] in the Pommern province of the German State of Prussia. This area was captured bny the Soviets and in the Soviet zone following the war and for this reason few pistols with these markings are encountered.
